Karkat Vector

And... Homestuck. Kinda been an obsession lately. -_-

In any case, I've been getting my fiance to read it but she is frequently confused by which troll is which because, well... That's kinda how Act 5 rolls to begin with, really. I don't think I was able to really remember who each of the trolls was until I was partway through Act 6.

To remedy the situation, I made her a cheatsheet with each of the trolls' zodiac symbols, some token personality type stuff, and below each was their name, trolltag, and a sentence using their quirk. The result was actually pretty neat, but I rather like the little doodles I did...so I resolved to vector them all. Apparently. XD

In any case, this is the first one. My favorite troll is Vriska, but somehow it didn't seem right not to do Karkat first. So there it is.

Incidentally, this is my first experiment with textures in Illustrator as well. I started over several times, swore a lot, tried about five different methods, and finally settled on this. Overall, I like how adding texture makes it look more finished. It's not quite as bald as the cereal pony vector.
